About Us
Parent conduct
Players who make it to the Royals often have parents who contributed significantly to their development. As players advance to higher levels of play many parents must transition from an active/directive approach into a supporting role. Rest assured that your emotional support and guidance remain critical elements of player development. Outside of games and practice – please continue to encourage your player. Be mindful however, to avoid providing coaching that is beyond your level of expertise.
During games and practice, coaching from the stands only undermines coach and team objectives while distracting the player. Please be mindful to:
• Cheer the players on in a positive manner.
• Do not verbally abuse the umpires.
• Stay clear of the dugout during games.
